My speciality is wedding receptions. I have held the DJ/MC duties for over 200 wedding receptions in the past 5 years in Dallas/Fort Worth. I also have lots of experience with mitzvahs, school dances, corporate events, and parties.
What kind of music do you play?
Anything and everything! My job is to play the songs you want to hear, the songs your guests want to hear, and the music that will keep people dancing. It's YOUR special day, so you can have as much control of the playlist as you desire.
Do you have a contract?
Yes, it's straightforward and easy to read with no confusing legal terminology. It not only protects me, but you as well by guaranteeing that I will be at your event.
Do you also help plan the order of events?
Absolutely! Typically you will work out the order of events with either myself or your wedding/planning coordinator. I have seen it done many different ways and can offer my guidance on what order flows the best. During the event I will coordinate with the other vendors as well as make announcements so everyone knows what is next on the agenda.
Are you going to be the DJ at my event or are you going to send someone else?
I will be the DJ! From the first phone call to the last song of the night, I will be the only person you deal with. I also never subcontract gigs to other DJ's.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured with a $2 million dollar liability policy. This satisfies the vendor insurance requirements at all of the major hotels, private clubs and reception halls in Dallas/Fort Worth.
What happens if you get by a truck on the way to the event?
The office has a list of numbers of other DJ's that I'm familiar with and respect to call in case of a dire emergency - including the DJ that is going to host my wedding.
Are you a full-time DJ?
Yes! DJ'ing is a career for me, not a hobby.
